Turkish inbound tourism to Greece has witnessed a remarkable surge in recent years. In 2024 alone, arrivals from Turkey increased by over 114% compared to the previous year, largely due to the introduction of the seven-day visa-on-arrival program for Turkish citizens.

According to official data, over 1.21 million Turkish tourists visited Greece in 2024, generating 4.16 million overnight stays — a number that exceeds even the pre-pandemic levels of 2019.

Turkish visitors spent approximately €436 million in 2024, up from €296 million in 2023 and surpassing the previous record of €326 million in 2019.
